Brenda Milis
Over the years as a Creative Director and Content Strategist, I’ve built a reputation for translating cultural shifts and emerging technology into actionable insights that drive business impact. I work with deeply researched insights to manage photography shoots, create executive keynotes, sales narratives, and a company-wide framework, all in service of an always evolving brand story.
Before working at Adobe, I served as the Executive Director of Photography at Refinery29, managing both the Editorial and Advertising photo departments, creating original Editorial, Branded and Social content.
Among other brands and publications I have worked for are WSJ magazine, Vox, Bloomberg Pursuits, Bloomberg Markets, Time magazine, Marie Claire, Men's Health and Outside magazine as well as launching and serving as the founding photo editor of the Condé Nast site, Style.com
Shoots I have produced and directed have been honored by The Clio Awards, The Webby Awards, American Photography, Photo District News, and The Society of Publication Designers. In 2018, Graphic Design USA named me on its list of "Creatives to Watch."
Currently, I am also serving as the founding Photo Director of the print magazine and online platform, "Cuqui" for teens.
